The Taylor Camp was built in 1992 by James B. Taylor as a summer retreat for the Taylor family. It is a 100% log cabin with 4 bedrooms and sleeps 10.

Tunk Lake is 6 miles long and has over 25 miles of shoreline. Heavily protected by conservation easements, there are only 12 cabins on the lower 2/3 of Tunk Lake making The Taylor Camp very quiet, private and secluded.

Tunk Lake is one of the cleanest, deepest, and most beautiful lakes in Maine. It is located in the Bar Harbor – Acadia region known as “DownEast” Maine and is 30 minutes up the coast from Ellsworth in Sullivan and less than an hour from Acadia National Park.

The cabin is rented out to visitors during the summer and fall seasons. For more information about renting, go to the Rental Info page.
